Recycled timbers are available in a wide variety of timbers, are ecologically responsible and have a unique character about them that is appealing in the finished product. The supply of recycled timber is increasing as houses, bridges, commercial buildings and other constructions are pulled down, renovated or replaced. Using recycled timber avoids the need to use forest timbers.  Plantation timbers suitable for furniture or joinery use are still being researched as to their longterm viability, so are currently not available for use as far as we know.
