Brief:

Manufacture and install an eco-friendly kitchen and joinery units for a new build straw bale house, just outside Canberra.

Result:

The majority of the kitchen and joinery cabinetry is built from plantation hoop pine plywood and finished with osmo oil.

The bookshelf unit at the front of the kitchen is built from solid recycled hardwood and the back of the bookshelf is constructed from ply veneered to match the timber.

Drawers were built using dovetail joints, and using soft close heavy duty drawers runners for timber.   The drawer and cabinet linings are marmoleum.
