Brief:
To create a jewellery box that was different to the average jewellery box available, as well as something that would sit well on a dressing table as a centrepiece, not something to be stored in a drawer.

Result:
The quadrant box has 4 compartments of equal size lined with a suede lining. The timbers were chosen for their interest and contrasting colours and the lid was created from a tree burl giving the lid some unique patterning.

Materials:

  • Rock maple
  • Myrtle
  • Myrtle burl veneer
  • Mulga centerpiece
  • Plywood
  • Suede lining

The Quadrant Box appeared in The Australian Wood Review magazine edition 59 published in 2008.
