Recycled timber chairs

Brief:

Design and build comfortable chairs to match the Round-to-Round Extension Table currently on display at Bungendore Wood Works Gallery.

Result:

The prototype of the chairs were tested by many people of varying body shapes and sizes to ensure the finished chairs not only look great, but are extremely comfortable to sit in. We have only had very positive feedback on the comfort of sitting in the chair.

As the round-to-round extension table was built from recycled timber, the chairs match the table.

Materials:

• Recycled blackbutt
• Salvaged red gum
• Italian leather
