Brief:
To design, manufacture and install two home offices for a professional couple who had recently moved to Canberra. Two offices, two different briefs, different designs, two completely different looks.
Office 2 required a desk, book storage, general storage and space for the printer and existing file drawers and under desk unit.
Result:
Two office spaces with simple, practical designs, yet completely different looks; giving each office its own unique personality.
Office 2 – The simple bamboo desk, covered in marmoleum creates a practical work surface; lovely to make hand written notes as well as being hypo-allergenic and easy to clean.
Shelving above the desk provides room for books/photo frames and other items.
The eco-friendly backing to the shelving on both sides of the room – Echo Panel – provides pin board space or simply an elegant backing panel.
A tall cupboard with drawers provides storage for all those things that don’t need to be seen, the existing file drawers provide a touch of colour and are provided for with the custom made shelving. The wall shelving provides room for the printer as well as folders, documents and books.
